Hi, I’m Dr. Franklin Eliot, but most of my students just call me Dr. E. I’m so glad you’ve found your way here. I work with future psychologists, helping them prepare for one of the biggest milestones in their careers—the EPPP exam.

A little about me:

Psychology, My Lifelong Calling
I started my journey in psychology as an undergrad at UCLA, where I quickly discovered my passion for understanding how people think, learn, and connect. That passion carried me through my PhD in Clinical Psychology at Columbia University, and it’s been the foundation of my career ever since.

Years of Experience, Focused on Students
Over the past 18 years, I’ve worked with countless aspiring psychologists—students, interns, and early-career professionals—helping them not just prepare for the EPPP, but truly understand the material in a way that sticks. My specialty is cognitive-behavioral approaches, but what I love most is making complex concepts simple and approachable.

Teaching with a Modern Twist
I’ve always believed that teaching should feel like a conversation, not a lecture. Maybe that’s why I naturally connect with Gen Z learners—I get their humor, I respect their hustle, and I know how important it is to make study strategies engaging, flexible, and realistic for today’s lifestyle. Whether it’s through structured study plans, live sessions, or quick insights on social platforms, my goal is to meet students where they are.

Life Beyond the Exam
When I’m not coaching future psychologists, I’m usually out with friends—yes, I’m a social one—trying new restaurants, catching live music, or just enjoying good conversations. I believe balance is everything, and that the way we live outside of studying shapes how well we learn inside it.

At the end of the day, helping students build confidence and pass the EPPP isn’t just my job—it’s the most rewarding part of my career. Seeing someone step into their role as a licensed psychologist, ready to make an impact, reminds me why I started this journey in the first place.
